When

The webinar will take place on February 18th at 5 pm GTM, and will last approximately 50 minutes.

What We’ll Cover

  • Impact of cancer and treatments: We’ll start by looking at what cancer is and how cancer and treatments (like chemotherapy, surgery, and hormone therapy) affect the body, particularly energy levels, muscle mass, and overall metabolism.

  • Most disabling side effects and sarcopenia: We’ll discuss common side effects such as fatigue, muscle loss, and reduced mobility, and why maintaining muscle is so important for long-term health.

  • Why exercise matters: You’ll see why exercise is not just “nice to have” but essential to counteract these side effects — including how it helps energy production, preserves muscle, reduces fatigue, and supports overall recovery. Exercise is unique in that it acts like an additional “treatment” with no negative side effects.

  • Types of exercises: We’ll go over strength training, aerobic work, and high-intensity intervals, explaining what each helps with and how to adapt them safely during or after treatment.

  • Practical tips: A simple guidance on how to approach exercise safely.

  • Natasha's story: Natasha will share with us her journey, the challenges she faced, and the victories she achieved, showing how strength and movement can make a real difference during recovery.
